didnt realise post was going on...

aite well basically lcds are a lot more expensive to produce at big sizes, thats why most lcd variants out in the market right now are like 32-37inches...and most people who want to buy will buy a screen on 40 inches +...at the price point comparison of LCD vs Plasma it just wasnt worth going for a LCD because plasmas were a lot cheaper and display better black levels...BUT now lcd manufacturing has become a lot cheaper for some reason and new advnacements have allowed LCD's to display better black levels than plasmas and lcd's naturally display moving pictures a lot better because of their technology...

now lcds are becoming easier to make at higher inches such as 42/46/50/etc. and the technology has allowed their black levels to surpass that of plasmas they are now a lot better...

but these are only the newer lcds...since like 2006 but plasmas the pioneer plasmas etc. are still better than lcds but they cost a lot more...

lcds will soon become the standard because you can make them at bigger sizes now and theyll display better pictures compared to a plasma of the same size and similar price
