If they were going to do this, why release FF2 and IE7?

that looks fake.
that looks fake.
It doesn't make sense does it? It is fake. Just read through it. It's a nice site though. Whoever did it, did a good job designing it.
Red Flags:
Copyright © 2006 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved Was my first red flag because on real MS sites the copyright info is not only placed different, but has more links.
Also, they are using the MS trademark, but it has Google Ads on it which is unusual for a standard MS site. I didn't dl it because I've simply haven't seen anything about it on the tech news sites.

and esp r* @ "AKobe Phlash™ Multimedia Kit
This multimedia deployment package works in conjunction with the native Phlash™ Plugin that comes bundled with Microsoft Firefox 2007. Delivering, viewing and downloading customized interactive multimedia content has never been so simple. Learn More (Lawsuit from Adobe Pending)" http://www.msfirefox.com/images/stories/conference.jpg
Not to mention the definition for RSS = Real Simple Sex and under the tab "Fast Fun" it says"
Tired of slow image rendering? Microsoft Firefox 2007 can deliver online pornography at blazing fiery speeds. By using a proprietary dynamic algorithm, anything that remotely resembles a tit or a boob will download up to 10 times faster! r*

Yeah I wouldn't have been surprised if that did happen at some point. All Microsoft does is by companies and put there name on things. lol

I could definitely see it too, but it's much too soon after releasing the Web 2.0 browsers. I think Mozilla wants to see how well FF2 competes with IE7 and vice versa before that goes down. After all, they have been gaining popularity for the past couple years.
