Who has a PS3 and how is it?

the graphics are sick, I was playing it last night at best buys I was like WHOA so much detail,, I got a 360 but not on a hdtv so I coulbdn't tell u the diffrance but that ps3 looked nice!

whether that will change in 6 months when the ps3 is properly utilised is up for debate BUT beat this in mind:

the xbox360 has a better graphics card than the ps3. i.e the 360 theoretically should achieve better graphics in all games

yeah and that NBA game NBA07 for PS3 is some trash. After being use to the best basketball game NBA 2K7. It just doesn't compare. The graphics are nice but they over did it to me. The players look like they all have vasoline on. lol

I can attest for the 360 in HD. It is awesome. You can see the sweat beeds falling down players heads playing NBA 2K7 thats how nice it is. lol

You cannot compare the two games, 2K7 kills nba 07 anyday of the week, i got the ps3 and i downloaded the demo and that game sucks. And compared to 2k7 no question about it.

the difference in performance is the difference between(using computer graphics cards) a 7800gtx and a 1850xtx (you cant get it but its that powerful)...and thats about 30-40% difference

The PS3 is nice for sure but I don't really like the controller. Also there's not much good games out except restistance. I'll wait till the price drops and more good games are availible. On the PS3 only old games coming out like Graw2, Rainbow Six, Splinter Cell, Blazing Angels. I already had those games. The Xbox 360 is the better and cheaper option at the time imo, but it will change i guess...

400 bucks > 600 bucks for a game console


600 is too much, Kutaragi should be shot for charging that much for a damn game system.

plus ps3 has 256MB of video memory, 360 has shared memory meaning it can allocate between 1 and 512MB of memory to graphics and gaming.

plus NOTHING on ps3 has been able to match the graphics on gears of war
