I know I already made a post but I wasn't feeling the 2 you threw up.

What I need:
-Hard Drive space at least 100MB, max 350 cuz anything else is 2 much for me
-Want some relatively fast shit i heard 1GB for RAM is more than good enuff so I think thats what I'll settle for.
-I'm not too good with processor specs but I heard I need at least 3GHz for a good computer
-CD/DVD burner (someone explain the 8x and 16x to me cuz i saw those in some deals)
-Windows a must, I noticed this Ubuntu thing that takes care of blue screen which is excellent for me since I get blue screen ALOT. As long as this shit is good I'm up 4 it.
-And a flat screen monitor although I prolly can get that separately from a deal since alotta deals i seen are without monitors.

I need it for school basically, IM, and internet, but I'ma download mad movies and music hence my drive space, photoshop, and get some music producing software cuz I wanted 2 try that shit out for the longest. So Ima have alotta apps running which slows down or freezes my computer alot and I dont wanna have that problem again.

I'm willing to buy parts separately and put 'em 2gether if that's a better deal, but I need verification now that someone on here is good with putting 2gether computers and can guide me through it.

1200's the most I'm spendin but I think/hope the shit will be cheaper, maybe even under a G if I can manage.

yeah you can easliy spent under a G... And as far as drive space that shouldn't be as important cause you can always find deals on hard drives and buy one separate and install it for added space.

Check some of the desktop deals that I've post the past couple of days. I will keep an I out for some more since I know you want a Desktop.

I'm feelin this one right now, only $489 after upgrade: http://www.nasforum.net/showthread.php?t=13603

If I cop I'll def upgrade to the 1GB DDR2 cuz I want some fast shit, everything else looks correct. My only concern is the AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3600+ Processor, from everything I heard I should stick to Intel processors cuz I heard AMD ones are faulty. And I'm not good with AMD, so I dont know how great the specs are on that processor.

This kinda looks like the previous one with a better processor (i think), all I'll have to do is upgrade my hard drive.

That one looks okay, just no monitor and no burner which i need.

I think I'll wait a lil bit more to see what other deals are out there and anyones you post if any.

Also what's the difference between 8x and 16x for a CD/DVD burner.
