Modern Day Wu Shu is wack, it's all commercialized nowadays, started when Communism took over China and they tried to unite Chinese Kung Fu into one style, then all the Chinese movies started making mad money, and then Wu Shu became modified with all these crazy jumps, and crazy kicks, and fancy stuff that looks cool but it's quite impractical for fighting.

Jet Li even though he does movies, he grew up training under real Wu Shu shit which is rare to see nowadays, actually everyone thinks he trained under Shaolin because he became famous for the movie "Jet Li in Shaolin Temple" but he has trained minimally in Shaolin Style, he mostly trained under Wu Shu Style.

I do do Wu Shu but its traditional, we don't really like to call it that at my school because of the negative connotations it carries but techically it is that. I study Wu Tang, but Wu Tang is really just a name that doesn't hold much weight, it's a kind of Northern Style Kung Fu.

It's pretty funny cuz Ghostface called our school one time and started talkin mad ghetto and shit, talkin on some "We need to change our name" crap lol.
