How to teach 3 - 4 yr old how to play soccer

Well, no one at my daugthers school signed up to be soccer coach, and I couldn't let the kids go out like that, so I'm the coach now. However, never really played soccer in my life. I love watching it and i'm a pretty good athlete so I know I can learn fast. Does anyone know of drills and exercises I can teach 3 - 4 year olds. Thanks. Peace.

nah man, i wish i could teach my little cousin to play football he's 3 and a half

probably just make them run with the ball so they can feel it and get used to it, and the size of the ball has to be around 3..... make them do short/long passes some ish like that

soccer is a chicks sport. I hope you are talking about a girl. If you are talking about a boy. Get him in the gym to learn how to box.

First teach them it's called football, not futeball or soccer, FOOTBALL!, and when they are 3-4 years they should just let them a get a feel of what it's like playing, nothing to hard, if they expirience succes in it, they will want to learn faster and that way have both more fun with it, but also become better players, but as someoe else says, size 3 balls and passes and shots, let them play against each other like 3 vs 3 (with a volunteer goalkeeper, if nobody wants, nobody has to, but make some drills where they take turns being keeper tho), all in all, let them know the basics and yeah, take them to games ones in a while! lol, soccer is so lame. how anybody can argue in its favor is crazy. I rather play catch with a frisbee than play soccer.

it's aight you can always chose american futbol over football as all you need is to work out, catch and throw the ball run with it and slam into other people

while in real football you can do miracles with the ball!!!!

LOL AMERICA has BRAINWASHED us into believing REAL FOOTBALL is a sissy sport. Tell that to the dudes that get bashed in the head, get broken bones all over thier bodies and have to run for 90+min................

talk to retired american football players and see if they're bragging that their sport is so physical.. i'd rather play 20 years of pro soccer retire and continue to play for fun than play football for 10, retire and barely be able to run.
