....if u had no sense of sight, and no sense of touch...how much of the world u live in now would still be 'real'?
If i am blind does that make the chair i sit on non-existant?
...nope...coz i can still feel it right under me, right??
okay, now wat happens if i lost my sense of touch also?
if i cant see or touch the chair, does that make the chair non-existant?
...i mean if i dont have the senses to tell me that a chair is right under where i currently am how can i disclude the chairs existance?
Just because we arent equipt with the senses to proove that another world exists parallel to this one doesnt mean that it doesnt exist.
Think about it.... other reailities are lapping the one your are currently in at this exact very moment....
...feel free to comment whether you think this thoery has a flaw or whether it is plauseable. All related discussions are welcome

this is a quick wrap up of 'the observer effect'... please excuse the technical jargon...
THE OBSERVER EFFECT
Fundamental to contemporary Quantum Theory is the notion that there is no phenomenon until it is observed. This effect is known as the 'Observer Effect'. 1
The implications of the 'Observer Effect' are profound because, if true, it means that before anything can manifest in the physical universe it must first be observed. Presumably observation cannot occur without the pre-existence of some sort of consciousness to do the observing. The Observer Effect clearly implies that the physical Universe is the direct result of 'consciousness'.
This notion has a striking resemblance to perennial esoteric theory which asserts that all phenomena are the result of the consciousness of a single overlighting Creative Principle or the Mind of God.
There is a delicious irony in all this. Contemporary Western scientific theory postulates that human consciousness is solely a result of the workings of a physical brain, yet if the observer effect is correct, the physical matter comprising a brain cannot come into existence until it is the subject of observation by some pre-existing consciousness.

Science is hypocritical that way, the bed behind me I can't see nor touch is real, science wouldn't doubt that. But the buildingstones of a quark, or the Loch Ness for that matter, isn't real, until they have one on which they can look and do experiments.
But to know if something exist, you need not to be able to see/touch/smell/taste itm right this instant. I know my bed exist, also as of right now where I can't see it But the sound of the falling tree, I know it would make a sound, if I knew it fell, but I don't so I don't know how the sound will be, therefore, it doesn't exist in "my" reality, besides your typings, you don't exist in my reality. But you do now, because I've talked to you and know who you are.
John Doe in America doesn't exist in my reality, i have never met, heard, talked or seen this man, therefore I have not noted him and is unable to "classify" him or put him in my brain...
And to answer your question, if I was born without those senses, I wouldn't now what anything was, and therefore I wouldn't be able to clarify what they were, an apple = thin air = a bullet = sex ... But if I lost them tomorrow, these things would still be real because of my mental and my memory, if I was told that I was eating and apple right now, but couldn't taste it, my mind would still trigger something in memory that would tell me how this apple is tasting and I would be able to say, yes, I am eating an apple. I might be wrong, but that was what my brain would know. hence the things would still exist and be real, in me...

^^i think your interpreting it wrongly T....
....the whole point of 'the fallin tree' phrase is to imply that the whole idea, the whole concept of 'sound' cannot exist without an observer to observe it...

Nah, I didn't. I know the theory, I'm just saying that I know my bed exist because of the memory I have of it, I don't need to observe it I already have earlier, but if I never touched/seen the it, I wouldn't know of it existance.
^^and if u didnt know what they were they wouldnt exist in your reality.... but they might exist in another....
Yes, exactly, I'm just taking the theory into a personal perspective saying that we all live in our own dimension
We only exist through our senses, when those senses are diminshed so our lives. Though Buddhist monks would differ on that opinion and add a sixth sense...consciousness.
* A quick task to test out this theory, is to meditate on all 5 senses and slowly let go of them. Once you have mastered this, you will understand what life has to offer.
Try it.

nah... the fact you are not aware of something doesn't mean it doesn't exsist. just means you are not aware of it.

It is common knowledge that when you lose one of your senses, the one's you have left are heightened. I would imagine this would be true in almost any situation. As long as I can listen to music and get laid, I'm good.
