so far ive only read three.... the chinese tale, the navajo tael, and the norse tale.... my bad ima slow reader,lol....
thus far i can draw some obvious similarities.... all three suggest another 'previous' realm or existance from which this reality was created from....
also they tend to relate the creation of the earth to our own human bodies...
...in the first chinese tale, Pan Gu's body formed the eart, waters,..ect..
...the norse tale told of how after Odin and his brothers killed Ymir's, they then usd his body to create the universe..
wat other similarities did find ibarfly? ....or do u think that a common basis is not needed, and that im just reachin?
ima get to readin the rest...i think ill tackle them three stories at a time so next up are the japanese, korean, n indian....
once again thanks.

damn readin that japanese creation story was like watchin an action movie...lmao
both the japanese and indian creation tales are very different as expected....a common basis between their similarities is hard to establish.
...most of the tales ive read thus far begin with a being/s from which every other aspect of the world was birthed.... seems like most cultures based their creation story of the earth, on the birth of a human life...
....also i noticed a few stories really put emphasis on the notion of death being a 'bad' thing... i guess what people cant understand they begin to fear...this really shows throughout some stories.
im rel eagre to read the buddhist and hindu creation tales....coz im fairly sure both base their beliefs on the mind/ conciousness.... well see...
im done readin for now... once again props ibarly.
peace.
