The New York Mets announced today that they have acquired catcher Johnny Estrada from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for right handed pitcher Guillermo Mota. The Mets just made a great trade without giving up anything because Mota without the juice just wasn't the same pitcher and the Mets knew that. We needed a catcher and I'm not saying that Estrada is the greatest catcher ever but he is pretty good for what was out there. We now need to use some of our farm system and try to get a decent pitcher because the free agent market is nonexistent.
