Hi all,
Calling all runners (preferably in the Chicago area)! I am forming a team of 10 runners to compete in the MC 200 Relay race. It is basically a race that begins in Madison, Wi and ends in Chicago, IL, so it is roughly 200 miles to run. Wait, you don't have to run the whole 200 miles. It is broken up into 36 legs, each leg varies from 3 to 9 miles. If I get 10 runners each runner will run 3 legs each (except for a couple of runners that have already volunteered to do 4). It will probably work out that each runner will get at least 4 - 5 hours of rest between each leg. Collectively the team will shoot for a 8 minute/mile pace. The race is in the first week of June but we have already started training. If this interest you, please hit me up I'll send you more info. Trust me, its going to be dope.
Note: If you don't live in the chicago area thats cool just train and show up for the race in june. Peace.
James
