Queens stand up!!!! Omar gets shitted on so much, but he stay on his grind pulling out trades that no one expects. He got the best left handed pitcher in the game without giving up Reyes, without giving up the Mets best prospect and without giving up their best pitching prospect Pelfrey. Not every G.M. can do that. Lets go Mets!!!!!!!!!!!

The Braves might have some issues this year, their defense has gotten alot worse with the loss of Andrew Jones, the pitching staff is really old and signing Glavine might have been a mistake, their bullpen still needs some work. The lineup is still pretty solid but Chipper is becoming injury prone so that might be a problem down the line. I think they should be competitive but I think the Mets should be able to lock the division down. The Phillies got a good offense, losing Rowand was big though, but the biggest pitching move they did was get Brad Lidge. That doesnt really do anything for their lack of starting pitching especially with that park. The park they play in does even up the odds for them though because pitchers will have it hard there on both teams. I really do think the Mets move to get Santana really does move them ahead of everybody in the division by making their starting staff that much more dangerous. You put Martinez, Maine, and Perez against anyone's 2,3, and 4 and who really matches up. The Braves come close but I don't think their pitching staff will hold up the whole season, but this is why the games are played so let's get the season started already.

we got a lot of youth though. francour is a hell of a bat and as good an arm as n e one in right. we got mccans at catcher who is a beast. tex isnt even that old and a hell of a bat. kelly johnson a tough out. yunel escobar showed enough for us to trade renteria. chipper is still solid. last year was one big injury he could never get over. we got a good farm system. i wish ownership would step up and spend more money. take us back to the glory days

yeah your right I think you guys have a great offense and your pitching is solid, but up in there in age. Hampton hasn't really pitched in like 3 years cuz of injury and Glavine didn't really show up last year. So it might be tough for you guys but Smoltz and Hudson are beast so its hard to tell.
