A source that spoke with David Aldridge said Wednesday that the Nuggets (http://nuggets.realgm.com/) might be trying to involve a third team, the Portland Trail Blazers (http://trailblazers.realgm.com/) , in an Allen Iverson (http://www.realgm.com/src_playerfile/375/allen_iverson/) deal.

The proposed trade would send forward Nene to the Trail Blazers, who then would ship center Jamaal Magloire (http://www.realgm.com/src_playerfile/406/jamaal_magloire/) to the Sixers.

The Nuggets (http://nuggets.realgm.com/) would send another player, possibly former Sixer Joe Smith (http://www.realgm.com/src_playerfile/438/joe_smith/), to the Sixers, and the Sixers (http://sixers.realgm.com/) would direct Iverson to Denver (http://nuggets.realgm.com/).

aww man i kinda hope that deal goes thru...Melo and The Answer would be a beastly combo....like a new improved version of Stockton and Malone...but A.I. would have to realize he's not the only option when it comes to game winning possesion shots.....on the other hand, i really think that would work tho cuz iverson was passing good on the U.S.A team.....all iverson needs is an equally talented partner...i heard also that Pat Riley was interested in Iverson...if he goes to Miami, its a wrap for the next 2 years untill he a free agent again.
