Yo yo yo Cesar......English footie have 2 cups. League Cup and FA CUP. Fa Cup is the one we just got knocked out of which you must have lost!!

Fa Cup is the 3rd in line trophy that the players want to win these days, and even the fans.

Make no mistake though, I was gutted to get knocked out, becuase the FA Cup means a lot to me, and all football fans, but not the players so it seems!!

Yeah I know bout the two trophies (and ofcource the charity SHield), but the league cup is blah to me. Its made more important cause it gives the winner the right to play in Europe. The FA just need to give that right to the FA Cup.

Anyway, its still tradition at my place that when the Fa Cup is on me and my pops are watching tv.

Man, honest to God, my team is really playing wack. We are kinda lucky AJAX is a lil more wack than we are. lol. And it better not be a season like last season cause I won't survive that. That will be another heart attack, just like the game against the Spurs. lol. Thank God we got one of the best goalies in the world.

I like the Spurs too, always have. They always fuck up in the league though. They got quality players for years but always seem to have a slow start.

yea the FA Cup does have a european place for the winners. often the winners are already in the champions league, so the place goes to the runners-up...if the runners-up also already qualified, then i'm not sure what happens to be honest lol.

but it will be interesting to see who wins the cup this year cas none of the teams left in it, portsmouth included, are genuine european quality.

with the expansion of the champions league, and the abolition of the cup-winners cup, the uefa cup doesn't mean anything anymore, nobody remembers who wins it. no team proves anything by claiming the trophy....it used to be a big competition b4 the champ league expanded, you had the 2nd placed sides from the best leagues in it....was much harder to win

I don't agree with what you say bout the UEFA CUP. I can understand that a team choose for the national league when they are still in the race for the title cause then you will go to the CL next season. But winning the UEFA will get you alot of money and a great game at the beginning of the season which can leads to more money. More money will lead to better players which can lead to winning the CL the season after.

Plus, they got Munchen this year. I mean, Munchen is better than half the teams playing in the CL still.
