round 1:
Pretty gay. Felt each other out. Traded punches, nothing special.
I gave it to Manny.
round 2:
More action. More flurries. Marquez stunned manny a couple of times. Manny hits him hard with straight rights. I gave that one to Marquez.
round 3:
Crazy action. Marquez is giving manny some good shots. Manny knocked Marquez down with a good left. Lucky it was at the end of the round. manny won that one easy.
round 4:
slowed it down a bit. they traded more punches, nothing outstanding. Manny has Marquez backing up, which is not good news. Marquez is swigning tough. Manny won that one.
round 5:
very close so far. The punch count is even. the difference is the knockdown. marquez schooled manny with some technical boxing. I gave that one to marquez easy.
round 6:
Marquez is putting on a boxing clinic for manny. combos, moving left to right, countering. Gave that to marquez easy. still a close fight.
round 7:
more action. They traded in the center several times. it was hard to tell to got the better of it. I would say marquez because manny was backing up. I score that round even.
round 8:
marquez kind of owned manny in this round. he cut him with a clean punch. he took advantage and putting much was picking him apart. marquez won that one.
round 9:
manny was more aggresive in that round. marquez is still punching when he wants. i would give it to manny for the spurts.
round 10:
manny doiminated, but marquez came back toward the end. manny won easy.
round 11:
traded punches, marquez won the exchanges. I gave that one to marquez.
round 12:
classic round. classic fight. they went for it in round 12. marquez won the 12th, but i can't tell who won for sure. i gave it a draw. i'm waiting for the offical scorecard. i call it a draw, imo.
They gave it to manny. 115-112 for marquez. 115-112 for manny, and 114-113 for manny won by split decision. I wanted marquez to win but i can't hate, both fought well. the knockdown in the third was the differnce.
