when i was smokin ganja i was writing nonstop, i quit smokin for awhile and hit a major case of straight writer's block (i didn't write one song in like 3-4 months and was basically straight recordin ). Anyways, i started smokin again and an infinite amount of ideas are comin at me crazy, hittin me left and right and everyday i find myself writing lines on little pieces of paper and stuffin them in my pocket for my rhymes (so many ideas don't want to lose them).

I wanted to ask you guys if trees stimulate your minds as much as it does to me.

It's obvious Nas needs it through the 1,000+ references in his rhymes throughout his whole career.

If you've never smoked and still write rhymes, im not looking for your input on this subject.

i stay smokin homie......its a proven fact weed helps with ur creativity,
i alwayz write when im blunted....
for me when im high i find my ability to focus seems greatly improved...
There are other ways to improve creativity....eg. meditation...
hittin hemp is mos definantly one of them....

yo when it comes to writing songs, ive never done that high. i do however freewrite while high, just jot down ideas, but they're for stories not songs.

i noticed that my freestyle abilities are like 10X boosted when im highed up.

i aint alwaz write perfect when im high....
i jot down certain things....certain lines.....which i can than re-use when my high dies down....
but it does help...
lol...laughin at the times i woke up in the morn, checked them rhymes i wrote, n half it doesnt make sense....niggas be trippin when they too high...

shoot when i used to get high and spit it made me loose my edge, shoot Then after I smoked i would have trouble remembering rhymes that were old.

there are times tho where i get TOO BLOWN n stop writing midway thru a third verse to go eat n end up play'n videogames afterwards or watch'n tv lol

i cant record stoned though ..ive fuck'd up too many times where i do my verse perfect but forget to hit record on cool edit b4 i start LOL

i cant write when i smoke..it takes too long to put it on paper. im a freestyler by nature so if im making a track i usually freestyle it first then go back over it again..but when i smoke it makes me feel the music more and then i just spit. i cant smoke and not have music, i just cant. thats why id rather smoke by my damn self so afta i getz high i can throw my headphones on and zone out. i can freestyle the same when im drunk too.
