Ok, maybe for some of yall this might sound stupid, but how did you asked for a raise and made sure you got it?

I find it difficult to do so, cause I basically worked for every cent I earned. I consider myself a hard worker and I earned what I received.

However, lately things are on the up and up for me and sincerely believe I don't get what I need. So I think its rightfull to ask for a raise, but it just ain't in my persona.

So how you do it?

Thanx!

well for anyone else...

and in my point of view

when asking for a raise sound 110% confident in yourself and your capabilities. Express your desire for the company you are with and the desire to grow with it.

Highlight your highest achievements since your last raise at the company, and express your passion to learn more and take on more responsibilities at the new pay rate.

If you have oblivious weaknesses in your position or company, you may want to briefly mention it and express your desire to improve on that ...but only if you know its on your manager's mind. For example, if the manager clearly knows you come to work late everyday and now you're asking for a raise..you many want to mention it before he does although if you are going to work late everyday, your ass aint entitled to a raise in my opinion

hows that?
