Currently, I have an wireless adapter (coupled with wireless connection for my laptop) that I purchased through my wireless carrier (cingular). Is there any way I can share/split my connection with other devices? Lets say, another laptop and/or and Xbox? Peace.

It sounds like you are using your cell phone and the adapter. You would need some type of high speed internet connection and a wireless router. To share with other computers or game consoles.
I use T-Mobile's Data for internet on my laptop on the road. Can't depend on wireless mobile connections for high speeds. invest in DSL/Cable service and a router.

It worked! It worked without any problems. I stressed tested it as well, I was active on my laptop as well as my xbox and it work. Well if anybody has the Sierra 3G adapter (1.8 Mbps) from cingular you are able to connect wirelessly and use your laptop as a router for another laptop or game console. Wait...you need to use cat 6 crossover cable for best results.
Peace.

Cool glad everything worked out for you.
Why anyone would depend on 3g to route several laptops/consoles to the internet , i dont know. If you can afford a console,a laptop, 3g adapter with the service plan every month, u should be able to afford a decent ISP. I could understand if you wanted to grab internet just for 1 laptop. But really, im bored.
