Iverson Ejected In Loss To 76ers (javascript:rgmow('/rgmow.php?aid=44030','44030'))Yahoo.com - 01/03 - 1:36 AM EST

http://realgm.com/images/nba/4.2/wiretap/team/den_40.gifAllen Iverson (http://www.realgm.com/src_playerfile/375/allen_iverson/) took plenty of shots at his former team, before, during and after the game.

Kyle Korver (http://www.realgm.com/src_playerfile/879/kyle_korver/) scored 26 points to help the 76ers (http://sixers.realgm.com/) beat the Nuggets (http://nuggets.realgm.com/) 108-97 Tuesday night in Iverson's first game against his former team.

"It was weird to see him wearing a white jersey and we're wearing black," Korver said. "I said to one of our coaches that it is so weird to see him on the other side. It wasn't really a good feeling at all. He's a great player and he meant a lot to Philadelphia (http://sixers.realgm.com/)."

Iverson scored 30 points before getting tossed for his second technical with 1:44 remaining. Afterward, he said the loss disappointed him because he feels the Nuggets (http://nuggets.realgm.com/) are the better team.

These games don't count. Iverson playing well, teammates all say he's a good leader and great teammate, but they still need the chemistry. Give it another week and from then the Nuggets should start winning again, even without Melo and Smith. They are just too good of a team.

Good to hear the Denver crowd gave Miller his respect. Dude played some amazing seasons in Denver.

Yeah they will pull it together. It will be interesting to see how Melo and AI play together. When everyone is back after the suspensions.

I think it will benefit Melo alot. Ofcource he's cocky and last year (remember the terrible game against Minnesota) that was his weakness. With a player like AI next to him he got a teammate to look up against. It definitely should benefit his career. Melo can become one of the greatest of all time.

He's not a good teammate or leader. I leader takes responsibilty for the failures and all he ever did was blame Billy King for not surrounding him with good players.
