Should i let my girl go to a party?

i think many of you all know my situation

my girl has 2 kids(not by me)

im always encouraging her that if she wants to go hang out with friends just go do it and i will gladly watch the kids while she goes out, cuz i go chill with my friends all the time

but she never took me up on it until the other night when she asked me if she could go to a party at 11pm...

so i had mixed feelings...on one hand i wanted to let her go with the friend of hers since she doesn't really get to go out and have much fun, and i didn't want to come off as a controlling dick

but on the other hand, i know how dudes at parties are, i know what its like to be drunk, and why the hell did she pick a party of all places to go when im open to her doing whatever

so i ended up telling her she could go but i kinda acted like a dick and made some comments about it so she didn't go

but now(like always)...i feel like shit...i mean i trust her, i just don't like the idea...i told her it would be cool if we went to a party together but idk...

now i just feel like a complete asshole and that i made it seem like i dont trust her

thoughts? preferably from girls and from guys that aren't going to be ignorant

She's gotta be like 19-27 so the types of parties she was going to go to ain't the type of party you want her at.

Chicks in that age bracket go to parties to 1) get drunk 2) hook up with guys

I know you love the kids and all but don't be the dude sittin' at home watchin the babies while she's out being careless, I know like 2 dudes like that and it's horrible to watch.

I wouldn't have wanted her to go either, at this point I would ignore the issue if I were in your shoes, and if she brings it up I'd push it on the babies and say somethin' like "our relationship is stronger than that"

Believe it or not, a lot of women around that age go to parties just to hang with their girls and have a good time with no intentions of meeting new people. The fact that a couple of your friends have whores for girlfriends doesn't mean that every woman needs to be restrained from hanging out with her friends.

@Scoff, It all boils down to you and the state of your relationship. If your s/o has wronged you in the past, then I would understand your reasoning. But if you're just punishing her for what OTHER people do, you're never going to be able to trust her. You can't even SAY that you trust her.

I mean, the fact that this is the first time she's attempted to go out since you've been together should account for something, as well as the fact that she asked you if you were cool with it and then DIDN'T GO when she picked up on your resentment. She obviously cares about what you think and feel, and doesn't seem like someone who has bad intentions at all. You didn't even give her a chance.

Why she gotta go to a party to hang out with her gurls?

That's usually how the story starts and then somethin' crazier ends up happening.

She can dance with her gurls for like 15 minutes tops maybe before dudes is tryna dance with her.

I really don't see the likelihood of chicks having fun while goin' to the club to JUST hang out with her gurls. Dude will be all up on them. And even if she's faithful and good and all, I'm sure Scoff don't want a buncha dudes spittin at his gurl anyway.

I just think a party of all places is ehhhh...If it's just to hang out with gurls they can do dinner, movies, bowling, comedy show, whatever...

Besides she got kids so to me that changes things. To me when you have kids you commit everything to your kids until they're ready to take care of themselves. And the kids wasn't fathered by Scoff so to me he's a fuckin soldier to fill that spot when most dudes don't like to mess with kids with chicks.

as long as it doesnt happened alot things somethings up, but once out a blue moon is cool, but shit if u wanna sleep better at night have an decoy follow her, fuck it..thats what they do to us...especially if she got kids that aint yours..not saying nothing wrong with that, but she could at least find an baby sitter so u can kick it or go with her
