I know it's out of cinemas but its comin out on DVD and haven;t seen it yet. ANother Ocsar heavy film. Dicaprio renowned for his performance. Anyone seen it? Post what you think

I've seen it and tbh i dont think it deserved best picture

i know scorcese has missed out on the socar before and i think thats partly why he won it but i dont think he deserved it with this one

glossy directing and good performances by some of the actors - dicaprio/walburg and nicholson but otherwise not alot to it apart from a at times confusin film with characters which such confusin names

i dunno, i wasn;t too impressed and scorcese has done better films and not won the oscar than this

I thought it was a good movie. Way too over-hyped, so it disappointed. Whereas, if it wasn't so over-hyped, maybe I would think better of it, since I didn't have such high expectations.

It was a good storyline and, as you said, there was a lot of good acting throughout the movie. I enjoyed some of the irony, as well.

Overall, I think it was good, but not worth all the praise it gets.

I didn't care for it, I was in the theatres waiting for it to end.

If Nicholson was working with the feds the whole time then the movie is pointless because it was about getting him -- pointless like Lord of War.

And I wont even mention everyone breaking in-and-out of their Bostonian accents.
