Report: Brown Received Just $18.5 Million

According to WFAN, Larry Brown settled with the Knicks for just $18.5 million, half of what was originally reported.
Brown had $40 million remaining on his contract when he was relieved of his duties as head coach.
“At my request, the New York Knicks and Larry Brown have agreed to a compromise resolution of the dispute between them,” David Stern said in a statement last week. “Neither the club nor Larry have any future obligation to each other and have assured me, in response to my direction and request, that there will be no further public discussion of the matter.”
