What r ur thoughts?
I gave it one spin
not feelin it
random guest features (apart from missy/justin and nelly furtado)
and production wise its the same recycled grimey beats he's given timerfake and futurdo all year - just base and drums
any producers that have heard it gives ur opinion - a.k.a shadowapocalyse

Hmmmmmm.............
Honestly, I felt that he's had a more diverse catalogue before this though these new songs are worthy of being noticed and added. I guess he tryna go for the 'band' approach by having some familiar instruments used in his beats. He has altered his sound over the years and managed to still be recognized since 702's "Steelo - remix" but I feel like more could've been done here. He laced Bubba Sparxxx with heat in the past, NaS, Jay-Z, Petey Pablo, Beanie Sigel, and many others but I feel he was a little more relaxed with a number of these songs on the album.
There's something about some of the guest features that are only OKAY to me as far as performance. I do agree witcha RUDRA that some of his beats sound similar to what he's dished to Mr. BringingSexyBack.....& Mrs. Promiscuous.....but that ain't too bad since many producers do that same thing. He ain't a great rapper & we all know that but if he was to make his own style of rapping to his beats THAT would've pushed his recognition a lil more than what it is now. I think he's a little deep in the phase of using keyboards, synths, drums, bass, and other things band related......which is a good thing.
He's one of those producers today who I would personally like to see get into musical genres outside of Rap a lot more since he touches on them at times. I also would like for him to do more musical change-ups during a song where the patterns aren't always done in FOURS if you know what I mean. I respect his creativity and uniqueness since it encourages a number of other producers to experiment and use overlooked sounds in their music. It's all influence filtered through generations and beyond.
I think the album is alright and it adds more notches to his level of respect as a music-maker.
