PHILADELPHIA -- Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb was carted off the field with a right knee injury early in the second quarter of Philadelphia's game against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
McNabb was rolling to his right near the Tennessee sideline and was bumped out of bounds after throwing an incomplete pass. He grabbed for his leg and was immediately tended to by trainers. There was no immediate word on the extent of his injury.
McNabb was replaced by Jeff Garcia.
HOWEVER, THE EAGLES WILL STILL BE OK. WE GOOD A GOOD SYSTEM AND A GOOD BACKUP QB. NO WORRIES.

LOL!!! We are getting crushed! Next week, after Garcia gets a week of practice. We will know if it is really over. Goddamn their defense letting the Titans kick them in the ass!

Yeah and the season is over as the Eagles know it. Mcnabb is out for the season with a Torn ACL. Crazy. Two years in a row he goes out with a injury.

I'm more worried about the defense. I can live with a wild card.

don't know about that wildcard now sun....Mcnabb is the heart of the squad...and it'll be a few weeks(and a couple losses) before Garcia gets his confidence...next week is the colts...who will probably be a lil pissed off. Their vertical passing game is basically done at this point.

Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee Sunday against Tennessee, the third time in five years he has gone down with six or more games remaining in the regular season. Here's what the Eagles must do to compensate for his loss:
Play better defense: The Eagles' defense has struggled to stop the run and is near the bottom of the league in run defense, giving up about 130 yards a game. Philadelphia must find ways to win on first and second down, stopping the run by getting off blocks, running to the football and tackling better. All these areas have plagued the Eagles this season.
Run the ball: The Eagles are not known for their running game even though Brian Westbrook, Correll Buckhalter and Reno Mahe are effective running backs. By being more committed to the run, it will take pressure off quarterback Jeff Garcia.
Win turnover battle: Backup quarterbacks usually turn the ball over. Garcia must protect the ball for this team to win on the road. The defense dropped several potential interceptions against the Titans and cannot afford to come up short when given the opportunity arises.
Use a short, quick passing attack: Garcia does not have the arm strength or accuracy that McNabb has. The offense must adjust to his strength: the short, quick inside passing game. Garcia cannot throw deep with consistency or accuracy.
Move the pocket: Garcia is a short (6-foot-1), athletic quarterback who has trouble seeing down field unless he has a clear lane to throw through. To alleviate this problem, the Eagles must move the pocket with bootleg-type play-action passes and get Garcia out on the edge to put pressure on a defense.

Yeah Philly sucks anyway. We all know they aren't going to the Superbowl. But its good to have wishful thinking. lol
I'm glad my team made though. I will be glad to see them see the Beagle off out of the playoffs. lol
